| Products > Current Sensing Current Sensing Current sensors / transformers are typically used in feedback control circuits, overload sensing, load changes, etc. The 1T winding is carrying the current to be measured. ECI offers both a current sensor, where the customer supplies the primary 1T winding, as well as current transformers with the 1T winding included. These devices are designed to operate at frequencies above 20Khz. The sensitivity is controlled by the terminating resistance and by increasing the number of primary turns from 1 to 2.
