These high “Q” coils are ideal for tuned RF circuits, where very tight inductance tolerances are required. These coils also offer very high Self-Resonant Frequencies as well as excellent temperature stability. ECI’s precision RF coils are manufactured to MIL-C-15305, and are available tape & reeled. ECI offers several standard configurations of radial leaded inductors, available in a wide range of inductance values. The FL85 series is magnetically shielded by means of a ferrite “cup”, preventing stray magnetic flux from coupling with adjacent components. These chokes are used in applications within a variety of fields including telecommunications, video equipment, data processing and medical electronics. They are typically used for RFI suppression, de-coupling of high & low frequency circuits, filters and tuned circuits. Other values or versions are available on request. |
